Iowa Language Learners Job Training Program

Governor Kim Reynolds has announced a new grant opportunity intended to reduce language barriers in the workforce. The Iowa Language Learners Job Training Program will help employers provide sustained programs for language instruction, to increase proficiencies that support improved communication with staff and overall recruitment and retention.

Grant Awards Announced - March 8, 2023

Governor Kim Reynolds announced new grant awards from the Iowa Language Learners Job Training Program targeted at reducing language barriers within Iowa’s workforce. The grant will provide $357,470 in funding to support meaningful language programs at 11 different Iowa employers.
